My 60dc2 Hublog

Hey everybody! So this is my hublog about my journey through the 60-Day Challenge. I've joined the 60dc because I want to boost my traffic (I'm averaging 30-40 views per day) and revenue as well as get feedback from the other challengers on how I could improve on my writing. The 60dc is a challenge wherein thirty chosen Hubbers write thirty hubs in thirty days. When the thirty days are over, we wipe the sweat from our brows and set to work tweaking all of what we've written and then promoting the other challengers' hubs. All in hopes that we emerge from this better writers and better friends.

As far as niches go, I'm pretty much undecided. My interests are all over the board (as you might see from my existing hubs), so it may just be a surprise for everybody.

Day 3: So, it's about three days into the 60dc and things are going great. I've got ideas for the next six hubs I'm going to write so hopefully this creative momentum continues for the rest of the thirty days. Again I also want to give a little shout-out to the rest of the 60dc-ers, you guys are being really great and giving awesome suggestions so thanks again, and more updates to come!

Day 4: So far I've published one hub about cellphones, you can see the link to it above, and I'm working on the second part of it today. My next hub after that probably won't be published until tomorrow, but I'm trying for a minimum of one hub a day to keep myself on track. Other than that I've just been reading over as many of you guys' hubs as I can and commenting. More updates tomorrow!

Day 6: Well...ya...unfortunately the whole daily bit isn't working out so well I'm afraid lol. I will be posting my promised Part 2 to my cell-phone hub in a bit, and I might be able to squeeze one in there tomorrow. The whole "getting ready for college bit" is ramping up so I'm trying to get these hubs in while I can!

Day 7: So today I well...published nothing....I know I'm lazy! It's summer! Plus that darn TV was just out to get me today it seems lol. So in order to redeem myself, my next hub is going to be a review of the new toning shoes on the market! Maybe I'll buy some when I'm done lol. All laziness aside though, I am determined to hit my thirty hub mark!

Day 8: Yesterday I published another hub on books, you can find it listed above. I spent a large portion of last night reading through Shadesbreath and Christoph Reilly's hubs and about laughed myself into a quivering mess. If anyone hasn't checked out these guys' hubs you so have to they are hilarious!

Day 13: Wow does time fly! August is almost over! It's been busy around here because of some pre-college stuff I've got to do still, but by next week I should be able to buckle down and really bust out some good hubs. I squeezed in two today one is above and one other which is yet to be published yet.

Day 16: Not too much to update you guys on except that I've got three upcoming hubs in the works for you guys. I'm still nowhere near thirty (guilty I know) but I'll git 'er done! Thanks everyone for your continued support as well I've been getting some fantastic comments and and traffic increases since this challenge started!

Day 18: So those hubs I told y'all about have come to fruition. You can check those out above. My hublog is officially hubnugget-ized :D, and now my hub "The Five Best Books for Children" is being nominated as well. I have a link to where you can vote up there by the paperboy.

Day 21: Hubbing is going well so far! I've published another hub since my last entry up in the travel section. I've also been perusing the forums and all my fellow teammates' hubs and came across the newest installment in the Christoph Reilly and Shadesbreath debate. Day 31: So it's been a while everybody long time no see! College has started off and it's been keeping me really busy. I got one hub done today so far, "Where to Find College Textbooks for half the Price", and hopefully I'll be able to get to work on a second one bringing my hub total to 14. The other great news is that my traffic has gone way up since the start of the challenge so I'm really excited about that especially since a significant portion of that traffic is coming from google and other outside search engines.

Day 32: We're heading into tweak week now which is the second phase of the 60dc2. Most of you guys have finished your thirty hubs for the first month of the challenge and major congratulations to you! As you can see I have a ways to go but I am enjoying the experience. Yesterday I posted a hub on St. Ives facial scrub which you can find above in the reviews category. As of today, I have an additional two hubs in the works, and they will be published within the week, bringing my total to a measly 16 (aghh the guilt!!! :p ).
